age was founded by Leo J. Henderson in the late 40's. Leo Bought his first car at the tender age of 13 for $10. Leo's Adolescence was spent fixing his cars and cars of his friends, gaining knowledge along the way. During World War II, Leo helped to build planes at Mc Donald Douglas for the military. In the mid 40's, Leo entered into a partership with his college and founded L & M Auto Repair, leased from Richfield Gas Station.

During the late 40's, Leo ventured out on his own and opened his own shop, Leo's Garage located at Alonra Blvd. and Clark. In 1949, Leo purchased property in Bellflower, CA on the corner of Alonra Blvd. and Virginia where the shop resided to this day. Leo's son, Joe Henderson, started helping his dad in the shop at a young 
age. In 1958, Joe started working after school at the shop to help out the family and to learn more about his fathers busines. Leo brought his son in as a parner in the 60's and founded Leo & Son Garage. In 1991, Leo's grandson and Joe's son, Donald Henderson started working for the family business in high school as a ROP student and continues to work trying to keep the family business true to Leo's original vision
