Seeing Green

Seeing Green

We are seeing Green at Leo & Son Garage in Bellflower California. We just replaced the grass in the front of our facility with artificial turf, no more watering no more mowing just year round beauty. We have had replacing the grass on our to do list for some time now. Now it's done we love it. This grass should be virtually maintenance free, especially if dogowners clean up after their pets (fingers crossed). The days of loud mowers waking up our neighbors are gone. The days of over watering or under watering are gone. The cost of Water fertilizer and lawn mowing are gone for good. At leo and Son Garage we are always looking forbetter and more efficient ways of working on our customers cars and trucks day in and day out. Doing a better job is a ongoing battle to keep up with training , and having excellent staff to make the process work easy. My job as a manager is to make sure all the pieces work together and that includes the appearance of our facility. I h ... read more

Meet Our Team: Jessie

Meet Our Team: Jessie

JessieTell us about yourself and your role here at Leo & Son Garage. My name is Jessie. I'm "tech Jessie" here since there's another Jesse. I'm a graduate of UTI and I'm a lube tech here at Leo & Son Garage. People would be surprised if they knew what about you? That I have season tickets to the 49ers and I go up to San Francisco once a month to watch them. Where is your favorite place to eat? I love street tacos. So it's not really an actual place. Anywhere I could find street tacos is my favorite place to eat. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? I ate snake at my uncles house in Mexico. I didn't like it. What would you like to be famous for? I actually wouldn't want to be famous. I wouldn't want people looking at me or have cameras following me everywhere. How many hours do you work a week ... read more

New Shop Hours!

We're happy to announce that starting Monday October 31st we will be open Saturdays 7:30am-5:00pm! Our Monday through Friday hours have also been extended to 7:30am-6:30pm. These changes make it more convenient for our customers to get their cars into the shop. Later hours means later drop off or pick up. Saturday hours means you can drop off your car on Friday and you won't have to go the whole weekend without a car. We're making these changes because maintaining your car should not be a stressful experience. We want to keep things simple for you. If you're unable to drop off your vehicle during shop hours we do have a drop box located on the side of our building facing Alondra Blvd. Inside you will find envelopes where you can leave your keys and provide all your information. First thing in the morning we will check the box, and give you a call to make sure we can address all ofyour concerns. Don't stress yourself out w ... read more

Halloween Driving Safety

Halloween Driving Safety

Halloween is right around the corner! The weather is cooler (kind of), the leaves are changing, we're breaking out the scary movies, the costumes, and best of all the candy! Halloween is wonderful but it also has its issues. One of those issues being a whole bunch of people walking the streets at night in dark costumes. Halloween is fun but it's not so fun when you're not safe. Here are some tips on how to stay safe on the streets this Halloween. Watch For Children! This sounds obvious, I know, but it's important. Kids are likely not going to be thinking too much about the carson the road when there is candy to collect and fun times to be had. Don't assume that any pedestrians are going to stop for you. It's safer to stop and allow them to cross. Slow Down There are going to be a lot more people on the streets on Halloween weekend. Drive at least 5 miles below the speed limit, especi ... read more

2016 Bellflower Car Show

2016 Bellflower Car Show

This past weekend Leo & Son joined the city of Bellflower in their annual car show. We lined up with many other local vendors and businesses to admire all the classic cars in our community. This year Leo & Son joined forces with the Southern CaliforniaGolden Retriever Rescue to raise money for Golden Retrievers in need of a home. The Southern CaliforniaGolden Retriever Rescue's mission is to find loving and nurturing homes for retrievers in needregardless of conditions or circumstances. So it was a pleasure to have some of their dogs join us during the car show. It was a chance for everyone to see how kind and nurturing the dogs are and to give the dogs a chance to find a new home. The car show was a great opportunity to check out some classic diesel cars and it was also just a great time connecting with the community and getting to know some of our neighbors. People of all ages and backgrounds were out on Bellflower Blvd admiring all the details th ... read more
